Recruit the Recruited?

Have you ever heard something akin to that before? What does that even mean?

You may not know what it means, but you surely have experienced the effect of it if you haven’t done it.

Recruiting the recruited is a simple reminded that even after we shake hands with someone, after the new hire is supposedly made, that you may still lose that stellar prospect you desire to work at your start up business so badly.

We have to remember that even though the recruiting stage may seem to end with that prospect saying, “Yes, I will work for you,” that realistically they are still going to have number of other small business start-ups clamoring for their attention. And what will each of these start-ups say? Come work for us, we have more to offer.

So how do you avoid losing that awesome new recruit for your start-up company?

The answer is simple: continue to recruit them until they step through your door and begin work. Be in contact with them, send them friendly messages, and lay out the perks of working together.

And don’t forget, recruit the recruited and keep them there. You won’t regret it.
