As there really are just 24 hours in a day, executives must find ways to be as productive as possible during their waking hours. In a recent blog post, Michael Hyatt created a list of his favorite productivity hacks, and they’ll likely prove useful for any business person who’s looking to get more done in their day-to-day. First off, he recommends taking a few preparatory steps that will help you get your day started off in the right foot. To do that, you’ll need to pick and lay out the clothes you’ll be wearing the next day, make a list of three things that you have to do tomorrow and make sure you get to bed at a reasonable hour so that you’ll be rested enough to handle whatever the day throws at you.
Next, he ups a few tips about how to get the most out of your mornings. To start, he suggests getting some morning inspiration in the form of a newspaper, a newsfeed or anything else that will get your mind moving in a creative direction. Hyatt writes that your morning reading should be followed by some aerobic exercise that will get your blood flowing and to burn off any lingering cobwebs. Lastly, he recommends eating a healthy and filling breakfast that will allow you to focus on work, not your stomach. Check out the rest the list to learn more Hyatt’s productivity hacks.
