Continued Lockdowns Are Hurting Supply Chains

As China’s continued policy of zero-COVID is causing more lockdowns in Shanghai, including factories.

This is not only hurting the factories, who are already having problems with not only getting product out to their clients but also retaining workers due to all the lockdowns.

As we mentioned last week, some clients are looking elsewhere to get their products made.

What’s causing even more chaos to supply chains is the problem with getting a critical component in many products, called a multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC).

This component is used in smartphones to electric vehicles and factories in China are having problems getting these MLCC components delivered due to the continued lockdowns.
