Business today is a competitive world, especially with economic uncertainty. The best way, albeit some deem as old fashion is to talk to the customer. This is most often the best way to see just how one’s product or service is being received and used by the consumer. Companies often turn to surveys sent via email or on their website. While this is a more inexpensive route fiscally, surveys are a flawed system to rely on solely for feedback. Most people do not read a survey completely or worse don’t answer at all which leaves a business blind to what is working and what isn’t. Calling a customer lets them know that your business appreciates them and value their business.
