Hard workers are hard to come by. It seems these days they are more the minority rather than the norm. So what happens then, when you have a hard work and yet they still fail to meet your expectations?
Well, this might be a classic example of having the right person for the business in the wrong job at the business. One of your jobs as a CEO is to recognize good, quality workman material and to place that workman in the best possible position. This way that individual can be utilized to their fullest potential for your business.
It doesn’t make any sense to have a great worker who is being under utilized or is under performing in a job position. However, it makes less sense to let that person go. You need to see where that person fits in your organization and what they can bring to the table.
Now, this is said with the caveat that of course you hired them recognizing a certain sense or idea of potential in them. That being said, if you saw something in them when you hired them, then get them in the right position and working to their full potential for you.
