Avoid Burnout With These 5 Science-Backed Tips to Have a Better Work-Life Balance

In the fast paced world we live in it seems that everyone is inevitably going to experience burnout at one point or another. Having a work-life balance that fits your individual needs is a good way to prevent that happening in your life and is also a good way to reverse the affects if you are already living in the burnt out stage. Studies show that multitasking is one of the worst things you can do since your attention is not fully on the matter right in front of you. Whatever happened to giving your full attention to something? Other things like keeping a calendar so you can keep that life-work balance and focus on the things that are important to you, or simply saying “no,” can help us fight being burned out. Most important, sleep. On average an individual gets up the same time every morning, however times vary at what time they actually go to bed. Going to bed the same time every night ensures you get the proper amount of sleep helping your body work its best, helping you have a good day. Try setting an alarm to tell you to go to bed.
