One thing we all deal with, whether we want to admit it or not, is the issue of depression. We will deal with it to varying degrees. For some, a general feeling of moroseness may set in for a few hours or a day. However, for others, this feeling may set in for a number of days, weeks or years.
As a leader of business and people, one thing you cannot afford is to be hamstrung by such feelings and depression. What can you do about it? For one thing, you can see somebody and talk about the issues. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this. For another thing, you can proactively deal with it by exercising and alleviating your mind from the burdens causing such feelings.
It has been shown in many studies that such exercise can and does in fact help people. How? When we exercise the brain releases endorphins, which essentially are what lead people to feelings of happiness. So if there is something natural you can do that will also help you in other ways (alleviating stress and lowering blood pressure), it might be found in daily and regular exercise.
By all means try this, and by all means talk to somebody. It will help.
