Device-Free Time Is as Important as Work-Life Balance

The online version of a business school magazine has a feature about trying to disconnect from our devices. The writer notes that the average American checks his or her phone 46 times a day, and that 68% of Americans own smartphones. In order to get balance in his life, the writer tried an experiment involving three aspects of life. He tried going to bed after checking the phone for only five minutes. He tried having a meal without looking at a screen. And, het tried going on a walk without his phone. He recommends we all try this.
