As you begin to work with others during this new year, there may be some changes you might want to make. It’s a new year, and of course there will be changes that you are looking for. One change you might want to make right off the bat is how you interact with your other employees. As this is the beginning of a new year, they will want to see certain changes and developments in the business model and your leadership that will reassure them of movement and change.
So what’s one of the easiest ways you can do this? Well, eliminating certain types of phrases from your vocabulary might be one of the first places for you to begin. How we interact with our employees will be a certain sign of changes. So, what phrases should you eliminate?
How about telling your employees that something is far too risky to try. When we do this we are essentially stifling the creative spirits of our employees. This will be one thing we don’t want to do this year because we want to encourage our employees to think outside of that box and be creative. So eliminate this from your vocabulary this year.
