Hacking the Brain for Great Habits

Building great habits in our personal lives is a key part of being a successful and great CEO. It takes a lot of discipline to run a company and be a success. But what do you do when you already have a set of habits that, quite simply put, do not amount to great things? Well, for one thing what you can do is learn how to replace those bad habits with better habits. You see, that’s what research tells us. It says that we can’t undo our habits. So what we must do is learn how to program our minds to replace those bad habits with a better habit.

How can you do this? For one thing, what you can do is learn to locate a bad habit routine. Usually we encapsulate our habits with and around other things. So take a moment to look at your regular routine and then hack it. Insert into that routine something that is good, and do it regularly in the midst of that routine. Thus what you end up doing is hacking that bad routine and turning it into something that is good.
