There are some very inspiring women in project management. Amy Hamilton is one of these women. She has been in the IT field for a very long time. Ever since she graduated from EMU, she has been in this field. She currently does IT work in Germany for the USA. She has done a lot in her amazing career.

Key Takeaways:

  • The hardest projects to lead are in volunteer organizations. It is much more difficult to motivate a team of volunteers than paid employees.
  • Technology is changing so quickly that often by the time an IT project is completed, new technology has already been developed that is superior.
  • Women have come a long way in project management and in the US Government. A key for women in any field is not to limit themselves or be intimidated.
