The mind is a powerful thing. The way you treat and develop it is formative for your entire career and personality as a leader. In order to develop that strong sense of leadership and foster a relationship with your employees where they will follow you anywhere and everywhere, you must eliminate certain words from your vocabulary.
But let’s be clear first of what vocabulary we are speaking about. We’re not just talking about that spoken vocabulary. We also mean your internal vocabulary as well. It is this vocabulary that in fact becomes extremely important. You see, that internal vocabulary is who you are on the inside. What you say to yourself will translate to your public actions. If you are constantly saying to yourself “I can’t” or “I won’t,” you need to stop and eliminate that right now.
Learn to believe in yourself and see how transformative that belief will be on those who are around you. So start shaping and forming your persona by eliminating those negative thoughts and believing in your abilities today. The sooner you do, the sooner you will see the transformation before you in your place of work.
