Morning Rituals: Dealing with Stress

Your day is stressful. There’s no doubt about that. It can be jam packed from beginning to end with Board meetings, division head meetings, share holder meetings, and the like.

Navigating that day can take some very ninja-like skills. In addition to this, managing the stress that comes along with the day can also take a fair amount of skills.

How do you begin? Literally. How does your day start?

Perhaps the secret to managing your stress levels throughout the day begins with the beginning. Our morning routines can be very telling, and they set the path that we are going to take for each day.

If we are waking up with a thousand negative thoughts on our minds…well, that’s no good, because we are now set on a very negative path as the day begins.

Starting the day with negativity will simply raise those stress levels beyond what they should be. So, what can a stressful person do?

Rearrange that schedule. Waking up early and getting a bit of morning exercise in is scientifically proven to deal with stress levels. How so? When you workout you raise your endorphin levels that will then serve to change your mood.

This is one place to begin. For some more ideas on what you can and should do, take a look at today’s article.
