Some will cave under the pressure of fear and will try their best to flee as far from the fear-invoking thing as possible.
Others will fight…they will physically fight or they will mentally and emotionally fight.
Even for some others, paralysis can set in and they will do nothing. They will become inert and wait for something to happen.
How do you respond to fear? I bet you are faced with it on the daily. There is the fear of a turning stock market, or an upcoming Board meeting or share holder report.
There may be the all too common threat of a merger or hostile take over. All of these things can play with the mind and the emotions.
How you respond will determine your growth and capability as a leader. It will show and prove that you are able to handle such changes and pressures that life may offer up. And as you handle such, one other thing will occur: You will build confidence in yourself via your experience.
