Many jobs are at risk of being replaced by automation in the near future. It is predicted that almost half of the jobs Americans perform could be lost to automation. Although low-income jobs are the most susceptible for being replaced, it is also predicted the some knowledge-based jobs are also at risk. It has the potential to change the economy in a negative way, but some believe it can be useful and convenient to have some tasks automated instead of outsourcing them to people for more money.
