How do you handle public pressure that comes on account of your job? It can be very difficult and hard, especially when we find ourselves in the public eye so much.
Pressure dealing with publicly traded companies, or decisions that are made will follow us in the press. Recently, much has been made of some of the decisions that Twitter CEO Jeff Bercovici has made with his company.
Now, this is not a place to discuss the validity of such decisions, but rather simply to take a look at how he has handled the subsequent pressure, second guesses and what not.
How has he handled them? Well, publicly…quite well. Perhaps the reason for this is that he has an outlet. It’s not clear how many know this, but Bercovici is an avid fitness enthusiast who even has his Twitter company compete in local obstacle course races and other events. Why?
All in the name of blowing off steam from stress.
