Supply Chains, Get Ready for Autonomous Freight Hauling

Swedish autonomous drone truck startup, Einride, recently unveiled their autonomous vehicles called “Autonomous Electric Transport” or AET, with the hopes of being on the roads delivering freight starting as early as 2021.

What’s so special about Einride’s vehicles?

They don’t come with any steering wheels, accelerator pedals and even no windshields (basically removing the need for a “driver’s” cab at all).

It’ll be interesting to see how they progress and how it fits in with supply chains.
