In recent weeks, plenty of announcements have been made regarding autonomous trucking startups such as:

  • TusSimple: testing their autonomous trucks without a human safety driver.
  • Aurora: Google founded startup just went public via a SPAC deal.
  • Gatik: announced their fleet of fully autonomous trucks (that is with no safety driver) where their fleet will begin shuttling orders from a Walmart facility to market in Arkansas.
