Communication is key in any industry. How you communicate with one another internally is crucial, and how you communicate with others outside of your company is essential.
Some would have you think today that communication is best done via images and graphics on your website. Graphic designers will tell you that a picture can tell a 1,000 words. And yes. This is very true. We will not argue against such a notion.
However, good, compelling copy is also a key factor in getting your message across. In fact, if the graphic is the thing that draws people in, it’s the copy that keeps them there.
So what does your company’s website look like? Not a concern to you? Is it something you leave in the hands of the web designers and UX people?
Well, if that’s your position, then we are here to tell you that you must be interested, because this is the message and face of your company. Most people will look you up first on the internet before every stepping foot inside of your company. If you don’t have compelling copy that tells your story, then you’ll have a hard time relating that story to those who matter.
