US Extends Lead Over China in Battle of the Biggest Economy
Like an ode to one of my childhood cartoon series, Battle of the Planets, the US had a good 2023 and extended their lead over China in their battle for who’s economy is bigger.

Many of Jamie Dimon’s lieutenants at JP Morgan were given new jobs this past week, leading to more clarity (or speculation?) of who will one day s\ucceed the CEO.
As it stands now, at the to of the organization chart is Dimon and Daniel Pinto (President & COO) and the next level consists of Marianne Lake (CEO of Consumer & Community Banking), Jennifer Piepszak (Co-CEO of Commercial & Investment Banking), Troy Rohrbaugh (Co-CEO of Commercial & Investment Banking) and Mary Erdoes (Asset & Wealth Management).
