The office is probably like a second home to you. Your desk…well, that’s your command center. You spend more time in this office than most other places in your life…including your own bed.

But did you know that sitting at your desk for that long, for those many hours, could in fact be destroying your health? I bet you have an inkling of it. Well, now research backs up that idea and reminds us that the less we move, the more issues we will have not just with our weight, but also with our nervous system and even our musculature structure.

This is horrible news. That work that you toil away at everyday is toiling away at your body now and threatening all you have put your back into.

What can you do about all of this? Well, have no fear. There is a lot you can do. For one thing, start moving. Take walks and get that blood circulating and flowing throughout your body. This will be great for your circulation as well as your stress levels.
