Mailchimp, a company that helps small businesses advertise via email got its start in 2001. It birthed from a web-design firm that started experimenting with email based marketing, then, after that proved successful switched fully to Mailchimp in 2006, expanding greatly in 2009. It currently is the biggest name in it’s industry, and claims to make small businesses $40 for every dollar spent.
Recently, after finding success on social media giant Facebook, Mailchimp has turned their focus to Instagram where they have simplified the ad buying features on Instagram making it more accessible. With it’s drive towards expanding their horizons, Mailchimp isn’t going anywhere soon.
