…the pandemic has hit specific industries hard such as transportation, tourism, food & beverage but jobs aren’t just facing the pandemic risk, even before the pandemic there’s the robot & automation revolution that was already on its way.
The pandemic has only accelerated this wave.
I’m not trying to promote fearmongering, but it’s simple fact & reality that automation will bring about another “industrial revoluation”.
In a report released by economists, Ziad Daoud and Scott Johnson, the report identifies that potentially 800 million jobs are at risk, specifally in regions like the GCC, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Japan.
Rather than being fearful, we need to start asking ourselves how do we prepare ourselves and our workforce to adapt to this change?
