Data expert, Bernard Marr, says that while AI is not currently prevalent in project management he believes that without a doubt it will be in the not too distant future. When project managers were quizzed in a recent survey, 59% thought automation would lead to the load of mundane everyday tasks being lifted from their shoulders. However, people skills like team-building, communication, and negotiation will remain a vital part of project management handled by humans. AI’s role is likely to be limited to number-crunching and the routine for the short term, but its possibilities are limitless.
