According to Oxford Club’s Quantitative Strategist, Nick Vardy, there’s a bull market happening with Agricultural commodities.
According to Vardy, these are the drivers of the current bull market:
Global Money Printing: monetary stimulus being pumped into global economies is spurring speculative investing in commodities.
The Impact of La Niña: La Niña, the cooling of the surface temperature of the Pacific ocean every three to five years, is pushing agricultural prices upwards.
Politics: Governments of developing countries are buying up agricultural commodities in efforts to keep food prices down, but ends up pushing agricultural commodities prices upwards.
