As a futurist, I definitely see remote work increasing more and more.
I’ve done it myself for over twelve years now.
Remote work isn’t just limited to tech startups or tech companies.
I see lots of benefits of remote work:
- Great benefit for staff with families, so they can be closer to family
- No more frustratingly long commutes to and from the office
But, don’t get me wrong – having remote workers is not a miracle solution to work – you’ve got to have the right people, internal controls and policies in place to make it work for your business.
